The Olympic spirit is alive and well at iLinc this week. iLinc was just awarded the highest (and only) medal for Green Excellence!
This week, Frost & Sullivan awarded it’s “Green Excellence Award” to iLinc as “the company that has demonstrated unique product design and development initiatives, which is aligned with a sustainable and environmentally conscious objective within its industry sector.”
Certainly, some events require travel… The Olympics wouldn’t be what they are today if all athletes virtually gathered together. But, while the world is very focused on the feats, world records, and amazing accomplishments by all athletes at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, iLinc continues to drive awareness of the measurable positive impact web conferencing has on the planet’s environment, and our own wallets.
So, keep on supporting your favorite athlete and country in the Olympics, but next time you are stuck in traffic or being searched in an airport security line in route to a meeting, be sure to ask yourself: “What if I was using iLinc? How much money, time and energy would I be saving?”
