At iLinc we recently announced our partnership with Arizona State University (ASU) to host, deliver and track training courses created by ASU that help government and private enterprises secure and implement stimulus funding for construction and building projects. This is part of the billions of stimulus dollars that Congress made available earlier this year through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The training is available through Arizona State University’s Alliance for Construction Excellence (ACE).
This initiative is exciting to us not just because of the revenue potential (like that isn’t enough to excite us!), but also because it allows iLinc to help expedite the flow of the stimulus money out into the US market. By doing so, we can help rebuild our economy. The training is delivered as on-demand web-based classes through iLinc’s virtual training platform so participants are able to take the training from anywhere and at anytime. All that is needed is a computer and an internet connection! The training empowers contractors and government agancies, as well as legal and community groups to understand and comply with the stringent reporting, financial tracking and oversight requirements encumbent with the stimulus money. Pretty stimulating stuff!
