One of the major defining points of the iLinc application is that we offer full support to both Windows PC & Mac users. So regardless of whether you are at the office on your Windows machine or at home on your Macbook, you will be able to join your iLinc meeting.
On the Windows side, we are compatible with XP & Vista operating systems and on the Mac side we are compatible with OSX 10.3, 10.4 & 10.5. As a basic participant in a webinar, you do not need much from a system hardware perspective either. We recommend a 1Ghz processor and 256mb of memory for attendees. For anyone presenting or making use of Sharing or Video, please click here for system info.
Here’s how to find additional system information about your computer:
On Windows:
- Right-click on your “My Computer” icon and choose “Properties”
- This screen will display your Windows version as well as Processor and Memory information
On Mac:
- Click on the Apple icon in the upper left of the screen and choose “About this Mac”
- This screen will display your OSX version as well as Processor and Memory Information
If you have any questions as you begin to use the iLinc web conferencing software, please contact our Customer Support team.
Thank you for choosing iLinc!
